TOM BLOOMFIELD

After earning a 2:1 in BA (Hons) Human Geography from the University of Leicester in 2013, Tom began his career in Financial Services the following year. He initially held roles in Administration and Sales Support before advancing to a Junior Paraplanner position in 2016. By 2018, with increased experience, technical expertise, and relevant qualifications, Tom became a dedicated Paraplanner to three Chartered Financial Planners. Tom achieved Senior Mortgage Professional (Cert SMP) status in 2016, completed the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII DipPFS) in 2018, and attained Pension Transfer Specialist status through the Level 6 Award in Regulated Pension Transfer Advice the same year. He has since completed most of his Chartered-level exams and is actively working toward achieving Chartered Financial Planner status.

Following a period of work in the charity sector during and after the covid pandemic, Tom returned to paraplanning in 2024, joining Omni as a Senior Paraplanner. In this role, his responsibilities include technical analysis, report writing, and financial modelling. He values strong communication and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, advisers, and support staff, to consistently deliver high-quality client outcomes.

Outside of work, Tom is a big fan of live music and an avid follower of football and tennis. According to his Football Manager 2020 CV, he has even led St Albans City FC to five Champions League titles.
